That included Kyla Galer from WBBH in Fort Myers, but viewers were wondering what the heck was with her microphone, which looked ...well... odd. “It is what you think it is,” said anchor Jeff Butera at nearby WZVN, who tweeted a screenshot of Galer. “Yes, it’s a condom. Nothing better to waterproof a microphone.” Galer turned the attention to more serious matters. “I see the condom mic has gone viral,” she wrote on Instagram. “Right now I’m just thinking about this community.
